“Great people and breakfast”

“I have mixed feelings about this place. I booked our room according to the photos shown on Expedia but when we arrived we have got a completely different kind of room. Next morning i have asked if any chance to give a room i have seen on the booking platform and they have granted us a better room but the bed was so old and it was so loud with every turn or little movement. The breakfast was very poor and not replaced the food when ran out, just after i have made a complaint about it. The lady in...

“Lovely hotel, beautiful clean room. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent, bar area with lots of sofas to relax on. Good choice at breakfast and staff were helpful and friendly. Great stay.”

“Very friendly atmosphere”

“The Lion Inn was a last minute booking but it did not disappoint. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was served hot. The breakfast was cooked to order and was a great welsh breakfast. The rooms were cosy but with a boutique hotel theme. Public areas were clean there was parking available with tables outside. The village was lovely too and the location made easy access to Montgomery and Welshpool. A great base for people touring that area. Wish we could have booked for...

“Property and car park was very easy to find, had plenty of instructions on how to get to the property and gain entry well in advance Hotel itself is small and cosy room was well maintained and very clean, bed and bedding was clean and comfy and bathroom was well stocked We had a lovely stay here.”
