“AVOID AWFUL HOTEL.”

“Interior del hotel muy bien decorado. Habitación amplia (7), cómoda y calentita. En el cuarto de baño había un problema de evacuación del agua de la ducha. Punto negativo, la manera de recibir ha sido un poco impersonal y hemos tenido que pagar todo con antelación cuando hemos llegado. Personal del desayuno muy simpático, muchas gracias a ella por sus sonrisas y su ayuda. Desayuno muy bueno y completo.”

“A unique bed&breakfast... perfe location after a day's hike up in the mountains and dinner os 15 minutes away . The room was very nice and comfy. I also enjoyed the reading room upstairs. Breakfast next morning was really good and plentiful. My wife bought a pair of alpacca socks ( you need to stay there to understand fully, there are 3 of them in the back ) Claire is a fantastic host who took really good care of us”

“We arrived late, so didn't expect to be greeted. We had called and advised that we would be late, so Hazel gave us excellent instructions on how to get in after closing. She also took our breakfast order on the phone. The next morning, all was well, but we saw no one at checkout, which was odd. There is no reception, no entry desk, and there was no one around. “What a fantastic and peaceful 5 night stay. The hut was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a comfortable and peaceful get away, and would certainly stay there again. Due to the hot weather and many wildfires in Wales, there was a BBQ and fire ban, so we had to alter what we had planned to cook, with only 2 hob rings, a microwave and a small fridge, but with a bit of organisation and regular...

“The views are excellent- Staff very welcoming and friendly. Rooms very comfortable but warning of some sloping ceilings! Amenities very good - good value for money. Breakfast very good. Good choice menu in the evening but disappointed that apple and blackberry pie not available for 4 nights of our stay! Dog friendly - which is great for dog owners but personally - I wasnt so happy re a couple with 2 big dogs being allowed into the dining room in the evening.”

“A friendly welcome to the property. Although nowhere in the village to eat in the evening, we were recommended a restaurant 5 minute drive away in Corwen. Straightforward continental breakfast in the morning available. As the pub shut at 10pm, there was no late night noise so enjoyed a good night's sleep. A great base for exploring the area.”

“Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!”

“Fantastic property in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town. Sean was incredibly accommodating from the minute I arrived, providing me with books and information of snowdon routes ahead of my climb! Absolute 10/10 breakfast cooked by sean, again he was very accommodating providing me the option to have it earlier than the usual time so I could get up the mountain quicker. If I ever return I’ll be sure to stay here again, fantastic stay.”

“Second time we've stayed here and won't be out last. Plenty of space with large kitchen and living area, comfy beds and lovely little touches like biscuits, milk, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Perfect spot for Bala and exploring the surrounding area. Definitely recommended”
