“Upon arrival we have been upgraded (for free) to a luxury room. The room itself was very nicely decorated and it had that luxury, boutique feel. Room was very clean. “Enjoyed my stay at the Menai hotel, my room was a good size and clean and comfortable too. The hotel breakfast was very good also. The hotel's location is in Upper Bangor and is not far from the railway station and near bus routes and not far from the town centre either. The limited interaction I had with hotel staff I can say that they were pleasant and helpful. Overall, definitely no complaints.”

“Generally clean room but we did find a dog biscuit under the sink while we were there……and we didn’t have one with us. It was during a heat wave and had to sleep with the window open even though a fan was provided, this made it a little noisy at times. Good breakfast and all staff were friendly and in the main, helpful. Only received a “that’s not my job, see the bar staff” once on one of the evenings.”
