Parking can be a little challenging, however the hotel was lovely. Plenty to eat for breakfast and although a little cramped the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Lovely two night stay.

Brian and Xia were very welcoming. The B&B is well looked after, with the bedroom we were in being of a good size, with a comfortable bed, an unsuite bathroom, and all the usual items you'd usually find. There was a nice added touch of nicely folded towels with a wrapped chocolate placed on top. The breakfasts are freshly made and very tasty, with other breakfast items to choose from. If we do go back to Llandudno, I can see us rebooking here.

Give them a go, you won't be sorry.

Room was all I need as a solo traveller, all the amenities you need, chose of breakfast was not to be scoffed at. Plenty of Information about the local and further attractions and amenities. The hosts make your stay the best it can be, the lady of the may be a bit shy but her cooking speaks volumes, and what the lady lacks in conversation the gent of the house has his fair share. Worth a visit, if not for the local attractions, use it as a base for the coast and beyond.

Best guest house in Llandudno

Lovely guest house with free on the street parking. Right in the city centre and a few minutes walk from the beach. Had a very spacious family room for 2 nights. The breakfast options were made to order and fresh every day. If i were to return to llandudno then i would stay here for sure. Brian and Xia who own the place are so friendly and attentive. Gorgeous place.

Very disappointed!!

The Place was clean but rooms had too many air fresheners in causing problem sleeping. I paid for a family room which was on the top floor but disabled access was only to the first floor so room was changed to first floor which was a much cheaper price but no refund. Was very uncomfortable eating the first day. I wasted half a black pudding a my friend got me a full glass of orange juice and once again scolder by the owner, The second morning the owned said we did not put our breakfast request in and my friend was upset so we went out and paid for our breakfast and on return were told they found the breakfast request. Initially the owner greeted us and said he wanted the best rating and also knocked a competitor business who knows how to treat customers. You don't need someone hanging around the dining room watching every little thing you do and chastising you. I have never criticized and of your accommodations until now, people want to relax. I wouldn't recommend Merry dale to anyone.

Very welcoming and lovely couple, great recommendations on restaurants and the breakfasts were excellent. Positioned in a quiet part but close walking distance to shops bars and seafront had a great time.

We loved the Merrydale, friendly, pleasant & very helpful staff, nether of us wanted to get out of bed it was so comfortable! The breakfasts were really scrumptious, with plenty of variety. We had the attic room which was decorated nicely, everything was sparkling clean whilst giving a homely feeling. Thank you Brian & Xian, we will book again when we can. Dawn & Paul

Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Besonders schon ist der kleine Außenbereich vorm Haus, der nach einer ausgiebigen Wanderung auf den Great Orme und durch das Städtchen zum Verweilen einlädt. Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt unterm Dach mit “anliegendem” Bad. Normalerweise sind es Gemeinschaftsbäder, aber ganz oben gibt es nur ein Zimmer. Man erkennt den alten Charm des Hauses und hier und da wird auf kleine Details geachtet, ein paar Blümchen, eine Duftkerze oder leichte asiatische Klänge zum facettenreiche Frühstück (full British, Porrige, Omelett oder Sandwiches -man hat die Wahl).

As soon as we arrived, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, and genuine.The room was clean and tidy, bathroom and shower very good, bed comfortable and in addition the breakfast choices was off the scale, definitely would recommend and stay there again if were in the area.

Lovely place to visit Llandudno

They hosts are really lovely! The place was nice and well located. Not much noise from our room at the top. Clean and lovely comfy towels. It was particularly warm days so we felt it a bit, but a strong fan was available.

The only small problem was that my single bed (located against a wall) had developed a bit of a slant, probably due to users sitting on the outer edge. The hosts do their utmost to make visitors feel at home and I would not hesitate to rebook.
