The location of the property is excellent. The possibility of restaurants and shops around the property is superb. The property needs better maintenance. It is a pity that being in such superb location the maintenance of the building is terrible. One big issue is that it did not have elevator and it has very steep stairs. If you have big luggage that is a big problem. Regards JCB

The hotel is very run down, in need of total renovation, a lot of mould in the shower, however, our bedroom was enormous the bed was spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was perfectly adequate. The hotel is in the ideal location and we had a wonderful weekend.

You get what you pay for. Bed was very hard, duvet was very thin, pillows were like paper. No wifi in room. Bathroom had cracked tiles on floor. Room was very cold so had to use a space heater. Breakfast was incredibly basic. However, it is right on the beach front.

The room was clean, but the mattress needs renewing, as the springs were begining to come through, continental breakfast was good, staff were nice and attentive, needs a bit of a pint job through our and new carpets on the stairs, but was clean.

We actually stayed at The IRIS hotel as Elsinore was under renovation following storm damage. We were upgraded to a sea view room at The Iris, with a gorgeous huge bay window with the pier in sight. The lady at reception was lovely and friendly. Breakfast gentleman was also so mannerly and friendly. Everything was super clean, but cosy. This cost us £53 inc continental breakfast, for two. Superb value for money.

Friendly hotel with helpful staff.

Elsinore Hotel was for an economical stay in a relaxing, friendly, helpful hotel. Continental breakfast was not until 8.30 am though included in the price.
