“Very good customer service with personal welcome by licensee supported by a helpful and friendly team. Clean room and comfy bed - fan provided but thankfully quite a cool room. Varied supper menu, generous portions, all freshly cooked. Good cask beer and excellent choice of reasonably priced wines. Pleasant outdoor seating area. Small brightly coloured breakfast room with simple but hot, freshly cooked breakfast. Limited parking but next door forecourt available until 9am as well as church car...

“Pros: lovely breakfast, nice aspect to the room and comfortable bed. Staff are delightful Cons: bathroom is a little tired - mildew and taps not fully working - but workable. ”

“Only spent one night, but room was wonderful. Even with the heat wave, the room was cool, and they had a fan in the room. Large clean room, big bathroom and clean. Wonderful restaurant and bar. Great breakfast. Only 7-10 minute walk to all the shops, beach and promenade. Wish I could have stayed longer. Everyone there was super nice.”

“La habitación olía feo. Feo el decorado. No tenía muchos outlets para cargar los electrónicos. Al hacer el check in estuvimos esperando nos abran por largo rato y estábamos dentro del horario de check in. Cuando nos fuimos dejamos la tarjeta de la habitación donde nos indicaron. No había personal que te atendiera. La escalera muy angosta para subir con las valijas.”

“Staff was attentive and pleasant. Problems were that they ran out of basic breakfast menu items. Additionally, the property is not air conditioned and no fans were available until we requested one. The windows were restricted from being opened beyond two inches. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. On one evening, the hotel was completely out of ice.”
