I would highly recommend Ibis Styles for a Ljubljana stay. The lounge area is very welcoming and comfortable and they have someone at the check in desk at all times. The bed was super comfy as well and it’s within walking distance to the canal areas

Great hotel in an ideal location for exploring old town Ljubljana, while being within walking distance of the bus and train stations. The double room was on the smaller side for 2 people sharing, but it had everything we required for a couple of days stay. Bed was comfy and the shower was excellent. Stay were lovely and the hotel bar with rooftop terrace was a massive bonus.

A very nice and tidy hotel close to the station. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The only thing I found inconvenient for check-in and check-out was that the reception was on the top (7th) floor.
