What an absolutely lovely hotel. Room was everything you would want, clean, plenty of space, jacuzzi bath, nice wee kitchen area, comfy, couldn't have asked for more, would definitely return.

The building this hotel is in is beautiful, and the location is amazing. the staff were friendly also. However, the quality of the room was bad; windows don't open and HVAC didn't work in bedroom or bathroom. No towel racks or shower curtain. A one or two star hotel room in a five star building.

The hotel is absolutely lovely. The theme is very impressive. Furnishings are very nice. Price was impressively low on a Sunday night. Lifts were working. Everywhere looked immaculately clean. TV worked. Appreciate the kettle with tea & coffee. Only disappointment was that the rooftop bar was closed when we visited. It was postered that it was closed for a private event but I couldn't see anything going on through the window. Overall, amazing hotel; definitely one to stay at if you visit Liverpool.

The room was spot on for a family of 5, ideal being all together and not needing two rooms. The rooms don’t blow you away but are clean which makes a big difference. It’s close to all amenities.

The hotel is a historic building and has historical features relating to the Titanic. Very good location. We had river view and that was awesome. Lovely rooftop for breakfast and seating outside too. Downside, the mattress was very thin and had no support, the bathroom had mould around the edge of the bath and brown stains in it too. The furniture is worn and handles missing and the wardrobe door didn’t close properly. There is no air con and therefore the room was stifling.

We had a room with a jacuzzi in it but no plug to use. The shower was in the jacuzzi, it was a big climb into the jacuzzi and I slipped bruising my arm. Also the bar was closed from 4pm due to staff shortages, as we were travelling with our daughter 11 we couldn’t go for an evening drink. Place was clean, staff friendly, location great.

Enjoyed stay in a large warm clean room with a comfortablebed. Bath was super. Good breakfast. With one exception staff at least looked at you when serving you and wnt out of their way to help. It is different and has a character of its own different to chain hotels. I look forward to staying again.

The rooms do look nice and beds were comfy. Sadly our hot tub bath didn't work. The staff were helpful. Always helped when we asked them. The terrace bar has a view of the docks and across the city. Has a few drink choice on but isn't massively stocked

Spacious clean room. Comfortable bed. A return visit after being happy first time. Price was very reasonable too. Would benefit from a refurb but that would inevitability increase prices and dont lose its quirks which make it different from the major chains.

Everything was brilliant . Check in quick and easy andd team friendly and welcoming. Room was massive 2 sofas , massive bth and a kithen area . The only problem i had was that was only in for 2 nights with work so didnt get to enjoy it as mush as would of liked . Will be back and will.be stopping again.

Fabulous grand old building, great location. Apparently under new management and changes are being made. Some areas are tired and worn, the room we were given was beautiful, but it was in the basement with no opening windows and a strong smell. The Aircon doesn't work at the moment, (part of the changes and renovations being made) we were immediately moved to another beautiful room on the 4th floor. The lady on reception couldn't have been more helpful. Comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Breakfast is extra but very good value hotel for the location. I would definitely stay here again.
