Bedroom and bathroom were good size. Comfortable bed and brilliant shower. Room was clean and well maintained but could not open a window at night as we had patio doors opening onto the car park. Air-conditioning was available. Breakfast selection was reasonable but service to get coffee slow. The bar and restaurant areas need an upgrade as tables and soft furnishings looking very shabby. Lovely patio looking out onto the golf course, very relaxing. However, there must have been a lot of moisture in the foam seat cushions as the rear of my shorts was rather wet! We arrived in the middle of an event which was very loud and had been set up outside one of our rooms. Not ideal when we had young children. The manager did listen to our concerns and manage to resolve the issues.

Tables for 2 in the dining room are far too small for breakfast. The food was good, but we had to ask for fresh eggs etc as the cooked foods were not replenished. no-one explained that other varieties of egg were available. Only scrambled on the hot plate and no staff manning the food station. Bedroom was spacious and clean, however it was chilly.

Staff and food great! But the room should be warm when you arrive and I've stayed twice (and will return) and each time the room has been Baltic, colder than the corridor, and given the lovely proportions of the rooms, it's a good 2-3 before they warm up. Like I said, I do really like the place and I will be back, just a couple of niggles preventing that 5* review - the other being that they are the only hotel in the world that doesn't accept Amex but that's only a minor inconvenience to me.

Rooms are lovely and although I wanted to use the leisure facilities I just felt too tired from my travels but they are great too. Meals and breakfast are very nice. Receptionist on check in was great but service can be slow and I had to chase people to get things done. Sort the service out and this would be excellent.
