Hotel aachen is a great location, very central, larger room than expected, decent bathroom, only downside was the noise but for the location i guess you should expect it really.

Very good breakfast. Single room is kind of small and old.
Great location, clean and comfortable, warm and cozy. Issue with noise from other guests but called reception and it was dealt with quickly and effectively. Breakfast was good - some of the serving staff were friendlier and more helpful than others but generally fine. No lift so not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Room was clean but noisy. Had to ask for bottled water, as no cold water ran from the tap. Good breakfast .
Location was good to the centre but uo a slight hill. Breakfast was ok but could have been hotter as just luke warm so didnt stay for the second breakfast.noisy neighbours talking outside our room at 3.20am with hotel staff. Shower cubicle could have been cleaner but overall stay was good with very friendly staff. Would stay again
I was pleased with my stay at the hotel, the room was clean and the bed was comfy. One thing I would like to say is the WIFI wouldn’t let me connect but this wasn’t a big issue as we only stayed the night. Instead we had the TV on which was good. The breakfast in the morning was also really nice and the service was quick which was also really good.
Excellent money with very friendly and helpful proprietor and staff. Very clean accomodation with more than sufficient facilities for this type of hotel and tariff.
Perfect location, close to the University. Warm, clean, comfortable, well equipped,, friendly and good value.

The hotel is reasonably priced and is very central. The room was extremely hot (my son turned off the radiators and opened a window so that we could sleep). It's also very noisy - there were drunken people shouting in the street below most of the night. I also couldn't understand why they don't provide shower gel or shampoo- surely they could have one of those push containers which most hotels have nowadays. The breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. If you want a cheap stay in central Liverpool then this is not a bad choice- just beware of the pitfalls.
