“Good food, nice quiet hotel”

“Excellent homecooked breakfast with lots of choice. Easy off road parking. Spacious, quiet airy rooms. Very friendly and helpful hosts. 10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants/pubs.”

“Overall nit too bad. Car parking was an issue and we had booked a table for two for my husband's birthday dinner and they committed to tell us they had a full house with a quiz on that evening. We had to get elsewhere. The owner was not very accommodating at all.”

“I stay at the R&F frequently when visiting family back home in Barnstaple. The hotel is lovely and staff fantastic and I truly don’t have any issues at all. My recent stay however was totally ruined by the position/allocation of the room, which I stress is nobody’s fault, however I did experience a terrible night of deprived sleep which isn’t acceptable. “Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.”
