“The lady who runs the hotel is great and can't be more helpfull. I stayed in a single room which was compact but enough for one person and it had a 3/4 bed which was nice. For a clean, comfortable ensuite room within walking distance on the town the hotel is amazing value. Breakfast was extra but well worth the additional £8”

“The food was very good (ham was delicious!) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub had a nice friendly feel, too. Plenty of on site parking and it felt clean. The only minor quibble was the tv screen in our room was abs tiny (small). Overall, was good value.”

The parking was very difficult to find and the Sat Nav directions on the booking do not tell the full story and direct you to the front of the hotel with no parking! The carpets up to the rooms are in dire need of a very good clean or even better a replacement. “We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!”
