The Tree View room that we were put in was very basic. No artwork or decor to make it cozy or aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom mirror is extremely small and hung very low- I couldn't see my face without bending over. There is also no counter space in the bathroom to put your toiletries. With that said, it was clean and the bedding was soft. The price was decent for the close proximity to Mendocino.

It was a lovely place to stay, in a convenient location, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The supplied wifi was very good (a concern in this area, because cell service is spotty). A note for EV drivers, especially those coming from urban areas: Be sure to plan out your charging stops ahead of time, because once you get out to Hwy 1 on the coast, chargers, especially high-speed ones, are not exactly thick on the ground. If you're on 101, I'd suggest topping off someplace along that highway before you get on the country roads out to the coast. From Dennen's, the nearest high-speed charger I found was in Fort Bragg. Fortunately, that's only maybe 10-11 miles away, and there are 12 Tesla Superchargers there. If you're traveling through Willits, there are some Electrify America and Shell chargers there.

We had a very private room with a nice deck. The room itself was okay. It had a sitting area separate from the bedroom. The carpet could have been updated or removed maybe a little touch ups to improve the room. Parking was convenient. The self check-in needs work. We couldn't get into our room and another guest had similar issues. We were able to walk to the next property and resolve the issie with the staff. They were very friendly and helpful.
