“This lovely old pub in the heart of in the Sussex countryside is cosy and welcoming. It's a hotel/inn, pub, and Jamaican-focused restaurant all rolled into one. The welcome was as warm as the Caribbean from hosts Barrie (Jamaican) and Drexie (German), the husband and wife combo running this place. There's a nice garden in the back for summer nights and BBQs. “Beds were not comfortable, lots of dust behind the beds when we have to relocate in the room, very very hot and stuffy in the rooms and we were only provided with a desktop fan. Very noisy one of the evenings as a wedding was held, ice cream was spilt all of the floor which was not cleaned”
