“On arrival they told me we couldn't dine there that night. I pointed out that I didn't travel hours to a remote hotel just to sleep there. I asked to see the manager and was about to demand a refund when they decided I could be squeezed in. This was at 3 PM not last minute (dinner was set for 7.30 pm), The receptionist was initially unhelpful and initially said we could eat in the bar. She also claimed the menu was the same (it was not).

“I stayed in the single room. A tidy and comfy room. The windows had been left open so it was cold when I arrived but it did quickly warm up. No blinds in the velux windows which would have been annoying if I’d have stayed until daylight. I didn’t see or use any of the communal areas so can’t comment. Enough driveway space for 3 cars. Literally 2 minutes from my airport parking. Would stop again if flying from Luton.”
