The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready. “Located in Glaston, we used the old pheasant for an overnight base whilst travelling through. Family suite was generous in space, clean and comfortable. Kids had private sleeping space. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and was looked after by the front of house team who were excellent. We stayed for breakfast and enjoyed both a continental and cooked breakfast. Food was value for money and service was fantastic throughout the visit. Would stay again. Value for money.”
