A good stopover

This was a perfect stopover hotel. It was well located, easy to find, quiet, clean and comfortable. There were some restaurants within walking distance and I had my dog with me. They were very welcoming. I would stay here again.

The hotel did its job but it wasn’t great. We had a small child in our party (4 years old) but the top bunk of the bed said it was not suitable for children under 6, which was problematic. The room wasn’t particularly clean and it all looked a bit tired and in need of a refresh. We stayed in another Ibis Budget in Rouen later in the week and that was much better. We received an email at 2pm saying we could check in from that point but we had to wait until 5pm when the reception was staffed again because the code didn’t work in the check-in machine
