Room size was good. Central location. You can walk to most of attractions. Hotel is pretty much outdated. Breakfast was very simple. Small fridge in our room was not working thru the entire stay. If you looking for the cheap stay this is your gem. But for amount they charge for night they should provide better amenities. WIFI was good and the stuff at the front desk was very helpful.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very spacious. We enjoyed AC which actually worked very well and the simple but satisfying breakfast offered. The location of this property cannot be beat, everything we needed was a few minutes walk away. We were close to main activity areas without the noise and bustle these areas had.

I typically don't write reviews, but this one merits the time if it helps steer another traveler in a better direction. While the location was excellent, the 8 property was not well maintained at all. Filthy floors, particularly around the beds and all carpets in the space were matted down. Walls all marked up. Holes in towels, a blood stain on our bedding, a broken shower head, an elevator shaft that smelled like sewer gas - as did our room, every night. The day staffer was the one bright spot - very nice and attentive.

Rooms were clean and well equipped with additional pillows and towels. There were blackout curtains and very little street noise so it was easy to get a good sleep. There was always someone at the front desk to help out. Excellent location, very walkable to all the sights!

Our stay at The 8 Downtown Suites was exceptional! The room was lovely, modern and clean. The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff were delightful. Recardo who checked us in and was on the desk for the duration of our stay could not have been more helpful and charming. He gave us a map and happily answered any questions and recommended things we could do in the local area. A truly lovely stay, highly highly recommend.
