I’m surprised this is 4 stars. The service was so excellent that it should be 5 stars. Staff are friendly helpful and kind. There is this cliche feel in the hotel and everything is super clean. For all future trips to Portugal I will be looking to stay here.

The stay was excellent. The bar service is outstanding, truly among the best anywhere. The hotel restaurant offers exceptional food — honestly some of the best I’ve had in Portugal — and the service is equally impressive. The spa services are also top‑class. The hotel is convenient to the Praça de Espanha metro and has a couple of playgrounds nearby. It’s reasonable for families and near the Zoo. It’s not terribly convenient to the old town area, but quick to the airport. The hotel itself is clean and easy to navigate. The restaurant had a lovely breakfast and made a good backup option for dinner. We had a suite, so the room was extra spacious.

Our stay at SANA Malhoa Hotel was absolutely wonderful and the perfect way to conclude our honeymoon. The staff were exceptional—genuinely warm, attentive, and thoughtful—making our final stay feel truly special and memorable. The room was very comfortable, the bathroom was beautifully appointed, and the restaurant and breakfast exceeded all expectations. The spa experience was incredible and exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The location was also ideal, making it easy to enjoy the city while still feeling like a retreat. We loved every moment of our stay and will absolutely be back!
