We stayed here as we wanted to see the monastery, the hotel was good, clean and helpful staff. Our problem was we stayed on a Monday, there were very few restaurants open in the evening near by - except one opposite which we used but was on the expensive side. The Monastery was shut on Mondays too so very little else to do, so we used the spa facilities which were good and we had to ourselves !

Great room, beautiful area walkable to marinas, good restaurant on site and just across the street, and architecturally/historicallysignificant buildings. My only recommendation would be that they have some sort of creamers to go along with the in-room Nespresso coffee machine. Since there’s a refrigerator in the room, it shouldn’t be that big of a deal.They had everything but creamers to go with the coffees. But then again they tend to drink espressos while some of us prefer a little bit of leche in their coffee.

This hotel was fantastic, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much bother. Rooms were big, breakfast was delicious and the pool totally relaxing. The decor was lovely, a really great hotel away from the main city and crowds but so easy to get into the tourist areas. Some lovely local restaurants near the hotel - easy to get from airport and easy to get taxi to Sintra. A fantastic mini break. Would recommend and will stay again.
