The hotel property was very clean and the front desk staff amazing ! They went above and beyond for us; every single one of them! We did not eat breakfast there , but the selection looked very good. The back patio was clean , quiet and the lower level garden is beautiful. ( Stairs beside garden are incomplete but you can still admire garden from patio above. We loved having a small store about a 5 min walk away. ( although it is a very steep uphill walk to it ; just an FYI for those with mobility issues, still very convenient). The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable! Also , it’s a 30 second walk downhill to a McDonalds which could be helpful for those with young kids. Many authentic Portuguese restaurants within a 10 minute walk but this hotel does offer room service with a decent menu. Although it might present challenges for the elderly or those with mobility issues because it does sit uphill between Fenix Lisboa ( downhill ) and Fenix Music ( uphill ), I would 100% stay here again!

Right in the heart of Lisbon, next to the main round about of Parque de Pombal. Hit the breakfast buffet before heading out. The variety of choices and freshness are all worth it. Friendly dining staffs especially the young man who opens the door and greet you with great enthusiasm. Our room had great view of the park. And the roof top bar is a must do to see a 360 view of the city, the bar guys are very friendly too. Lastly, we arrived in the lobby around noon. The room was not ready and we fell asleep while waiting. But, as soon as the room was ready, a young gentleman woke us up and gave our room key. We intend to visit the city again and when we do.. we’ll stay with HF Fenix.

I can say without hesitation that this is one of the better hotels I've stayed at on my travels in the past twenty years. It is a well appointed four star establishment at a fantastic location in central location, which is a short metro or taxi ride away from key areas like Chiado and Alfama - thus a perfect location for tourists hoping to see all that Lisbon has to offer. Our king room was spacious and clean, with a large bathroom and a nice balcony. The continental breakfast was delicious and varied, with fresh fruits and pastries on offer. The staff were very helpful and friendly, especially Mauro at the front desk and Sergio on breakfast duty. My only gripe with this hotel is that they don't offer facial tissues, nor does the bathroom have ventilation – two standard features of North American hotels. Other than that, a great four star experience and a place that I would surely stay at again in the future!
