I found the hotel location to be good. The pool was lovely and restaurant staff were excellent. Reception staff was also good. Housecleaning was very late and service was very slow. Breakfast was ok but not great.

A beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. We enjoyed the spa and there was always somewhere to sit by the pool. Very friendly and helpful staff and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal and a delicious breakfast

The hotel is in an excellent location and the breakfast provision is top class. Bathroom was lovely and the beds were very comfortable. However, I can’t understand why there isn’t a full length mirror in the room - we had to go into the corridor where there are mirrors all along the wall! Also, the TV was covering the only other mirror in the room. A shame as these are quite basic things that could easily be remedied. The staff overall were friendly.

Hotel was in a great location. Rooms were great although we were in a room above the entrance which was loud at night. Restaurant food was limited but we weren’t there for that. Reception staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

An amazing hotel with a very high customer service level, from the very welcoming reception & porter staff at check-in, to the busy & dedicated team at breakfast & the pool/bar area, who went above & beyond to ensure we were throughly spoilt throughout our wonderful 10 day stay at the Grande Real Villa Italia Hotel & Spar. While all the staff members were friendly & efficient, a special thanks must go to Maria who made our stay even more memorable. This hotel is certainly among the best we have had the pleasure of staying at and would certainly recommend to our friends and family, in fact we already have. The service, the quality of breakfast & the sincerity of all staff is second to none & certainly deserving of the 5 star rating. Thank you all for the fond memories of a wonderful holiday.

This hotel desperatly needs maintenance. It is clean and the staff is extremely nice, but the rooms need painting, the furniture is old and shows chipped paint, the tiles in the bathroom are broken, the shower needs new washers, and the towels are grey, hard, and old, not fitting for a 5-star hotel.

Good atmosphere, nice pool, a little old and outdated. Needs refurbishment. We got a handicap room which should’ve been reserved for disable. The beds were hard. The breakfast was spares. And spa was not available for my son so I couldn’t go.
