We spent four wonderful nights at this hotel. The staff was superb, the food exquisite and the room among the best in which I have ever stayed. The small archeological museum on site was fascinating as well. Would eagerly stay there again.

Great property facing the river, in old town steps To winding streets with quaint restaurants offering fado. We booked a room with a terrace which was amazing to watch the sailboats and cruise ships. Great shops very close to us and too many restaurants to choose from. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and abundant and the staff was excellent.

Everything was perfect, the breakfast is superb, the hotel location is great, very comfortable. We had one cleaning issue with the room but it was fixed very quickly and they offered us the breakfast so perfect service from the staff, i would go back without hesitation.

Beautiful place. View to the river. Dream place for the archeology/history-loving traveler. This place has a museum within its walls and is built on top of an ancient roman post, which is in turn built on top of an ancient phoenician post.
