Fantastic property! The staff was extremely welcoming and hospitable. The breakfast spread is wonderful. Accommodations were comfortable and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, as well as the Rossio train station. Definitely would recommend staying here!

Very cute, nicely run boutique hotel. Very clean! Amazing, friendly staff! Location is very walkable to tourist areas but not in the busy areas which was nice. Would stay again the next time i come to portugal!

Pros: - It was a charming/quaint hotel - Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful - Free breakfast was a plus - They did let us check in a little early. They also stored our bags when we first got there Cons: - WiFi didn’t work in our room and half of the time in the common area - We were on the ground floor (room 20) and you could hear every sound above us. We had to sleep with AirPods in & white noise to block the heavy foot steps and banging. It was very inconvenient when being jet lagged and needing sleep. This is why we’re giving it 4-stars - The location was a little out of the way from everything. I wish we were 10 mins closer. We love walking but the hills made this hotel feel inconveniently located Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Clean rooms and close to city center. Can be challenging to climb for someone with mobility needs because the hotel entrance is on a steep hill incline. However, what makes this hotel so extraordinary is the hotel staff and service. Incredible service by staff and attention to details. Wonderful experience!

We loved our stay. The bed was very comfortable, the staff was excellent (especially Roberta!); the breakfast and breakfast room were beyond expectations, beautiful hotel in general. Great location. You can't hear noise from other rooms but the hallway traffic in the morning is audible.

Stay here for a great first impression of Lisbon

Hospitality was the best I have EVER had. The staff made our honeymoon extra special, and made us feel incredibly comfortable. I’ll be talking about Dear Lisbon Charming House for years to come!
Our first meal getting off the plane. The staff told us to sit, relax and take a minute. We felt welcomed from the start.

Perfect place

This was the best hotel me and my boyfriend have ever stayed in. The service was beyond anything we could have ever wanted or expected, from the welcome drink by the pool, to hand written notes / pastries / port each day. All the staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself was a serene, beautiful and peaceful place tucked away in the most perfect location to walk everywhere we needed. Would definitely stay here again and again!

Lovely Stay in Lisbon

Lovely hotel in Lisbon, had a quiet location within walking distance to popular sights and many restaurants. Our room was small but clean and comfortable. The service was great, everyone was friendly and very helpful. The hotel included a private courtyard with a small pool as well as a complimentary breakfast buffet each morning. (The buffet had lots of options.) We also enjoyed the welcome treats at check-in. I'd recommend for a couples trip in Lisbon.

The hotel is indeed charming as it's name. The location is good close to Barrio Alto, Chiado and Baixa Bica areas. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is lovely. The only con (for me its a big one) is that the walls between the rooms are paper thin and the floors are extremely squeaky so every movement is heard from neighbouring rooms and from your own room. If you get up for the toilet at night you are sure to wake your partner up :/

Great service, very helpful, attentive and friendly, eager to serve. Nice place! Only negative was sound insulation. Quiet away from street noise which was good but floors and stairs creak so loudly you hear everyone coming and going including late night.

This hotel is a hidden gem. It is in an unexpected location up a steep and narrow street (which is most streets in Lisbon). The location was perfect for exploring the city and right on the tram 28E line -the classic tram around the city. We were in room 13 which overlooked the pool and garden. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was lovely and included pastries eggs bacon meats cheeses fresh fruit 4 different juices coffee tea and specialty coffee on request. The staff were top notch. So helpful with recommendations directions and when we needed to contact our airline they called and spoke to them for us given that we do not speak Portuguese at all. We highly recommend this hotel.

Zeer vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel! Geven tips over wat te doen en wanneer het beste is om het te doen. Ook geven ze tips over waar je goed kan eten en reserveren zelfs voor je. Elke dag lag er een persoonlijk briefje op de kamer met tips over wat je in de omgeving zou kunnen doen. Wij waren jarig tijdens ons verblijf en werden van harte gefeliciteerd en kregen een taartje met een kaarsje bij het super goede en uitgebreide ontbijt. Bij terug komst op de kamer (voorzien van Rituals in de badkamer) lag er wederom een persoonlijk kaartje met een flesje port erbij. Ik kan iedereen dit hotel aanraden het ligt super centraal en is gewoon een dikke 10!
