The building itself is old but the apartment has been renovated, I terior was clean and well decorated. You can hear the neighbors, we had trouble sleeping one night when they partied till 1 in the morning. Cafes, groceries and restaurants are walking distance. 15 minute walk to plaza Mayor.

Great location! The pre-checking on line was easy and we were able to acces the appartement at noon. The place as large Windows and a lot of light. We were a group of four friends, the sofa bed was not confortable.

Great location but needs TLC

The good part is the location if you want to be in the center of the action. Many restaurants, shops, and sites within walking distance. The apartment was spacious, but with sparse furnishings. Living room has futon couch. It was made up as a bed which we didn’t need. We had to make it into a couch to have somewhere to sit. Some maintenance is needed. Walls were scratched up and need paint. Shower head was loose and held with tape. This place is a good price for the location, but could use some TLC.

Outstanding location, great apartment

We were pleasantly surprised about Casa da Baixa. Our unit was roomy and the location was simply outstanding. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor and two excellent restaurants just across the street. The cathedral is just up the hill. The train station is a 17 minute walk away, while the main plaza at the harbor entrance is 5 minutes away.

The apartment is conveniently located to walk around a very characteristic area. Many restaurants available in the neighbourhood. All facilities provided, everything working, big living room, good view, close to bus and metro stations. All the family enjoyed it very much.

Easy to get the code and enter the building and your accommodation. Accommodation was very clean and quiet. The staff were quick to respond to messages. They were understanding and responsive to let us check in early when we asked them the day of our arrival into Portugal. Great location - close walk to Praça do Comércio and many restaurants, bakeries, convenience stores, ice cream.
