A great location. Having an elevator to take us and our luggage to the 3rd floor was a lovely surprise! This was the 13th bed we slept in this vacation and the bed was definitely the most comfortable of all of them! Quiet at night even though it was so close to the busy tourist area.

Stayed 1 night .Great location to stay at . Room was clean but they were out of shampoo . Communication was easy at first then it was hard to contact. Had asked for a late check out and was given till 12pm. When attempting to go in to grab our bags we were locked out .They made us wait and eventually gave us access to pull our luggage out . Wish the check out was as friendly and fast as the beginning.

The apartment was in an excellent location with easy walking access to shops, restaurants, local sites and transportation. Comfortable and clean with a lovely view. The only negative comment I have is you can hear your neighbours in the night or early morning, but the traffic noise is quite minimal. Try a tuk tuk tour around the city...well worth it.

This apartment was in the perfect location. Easy walkable area. Close to the water and the middle of the city. We enjoyed the sights and sounds of Lisbon by keeping our windows open all the time. We can't wait to return and this will definitely be the place we stay. The staff were great to work with and responded quickly when we had any questions. Very helpful when needing a place for our luggage when we arrived early. No complaints at all.

So what I was hoping this property had was everything I wanted, a beautiful overhead street view while close to historical locations. We stayed in the penthouse apartment and had plenty of space and comfort. Fully functional and equipped kitchen with many options with spacious rooms. Going back and staying here again will be a no brainer. Staying at Jules & Madeleine apartment made our trip unforgettable while in Lisbon. Thank you Jules & Madeleine!

Great location and service

Lovely place in a great location. Access is through a code so no contact with host but had a call before arrival to confirm all details had been received and a follow up call to ensure all good. Will definitely recommend as great base for a city break.

This property is very comfortable, very clean and safe. The location is central … you can walk to everything very easily, shopping, restaurants, cafes, the pier, supermarkets and entertainment including the train station/ ferry terminal if you’re planning a day trip out of Lisbon. It’s also relatively close to the airport (approx €12) I have to shout out the hosts who are super responsive, helpful and kind! My interaction with Marta makes me want to return! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for your patience! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

The four nights that we were at Casas da Baixa were difficult. We specifically booked a room with air conditioning, but the air conditioning units were defective. We sent 1-2 emails a day, but the issue was not resolved. We did like the location, very nice close to activities and entertainment.

Great stay

This apartment is an excellent location and is nicely appointed. The 2 beds in the attic space are too hot to sleep in during the summer though. Otherwise a really good stay. One note- you cannot store luggage there if you arrive before the 4pm check-in.

We thought we had booked a hotel but it turned out to be just an apartment in a building. The room itself is good and it’s in a great location. Poor communication with the host (they got back to us, but slowly), and no flexibility on early checkin even though the apartment was not occupied. Air conditioner is not working. Overall the central location made up for the other shortcomings for the 1 night that we were here.
