The rooms are indeed quiet and dark, although the blackout curtains do not seal as well as the ones you might have at home. The gym is reasonably equipped for a hotel gym and there is a variety of on-premises food options. There was a partial power outage on my last night, though, and even though my room had power, the gym was forced to close and I was forced to switch rooms, even though I was on the fourth floor where I could get up without using the affected elevators--this points to a lack of attention to detail. At least they comped the resort fee for that night, but also, even though the phone call directly instructed me to proceed to the front desk to effect the room change, I was deprioritized in favor of loyalty customers who had arrived AFTER me, and the staff member was rude and dismissive when I came back down to turn in the key to the old room. The new room was HOT and I ultimately went back out onto the strip to let it cool down. Based on my negative experience with the Bacchanal Buffet this trip, and then the room switch problem here, Caesars Entertainment appears to have deprioritized customer service; if it weren't for the other things I mentioned, along with the central location on the strip, I would've booked elsewhere. It would've been 2 stars without the comped resort fee. The luggage storage is pretty nice! Unfortunately, like other Strip resorts, their casino floor is full of cigarette smoke.

I was very disappointed with my stay at Icon Brickell, especially as a parent traveling with children. The apartment and overall property did not match what was presented in the photos, which was disappointing from the start. At the pool, I was supervising three children at all times, but we were repeatedly approached about rules that had not been clearly communicated. I was first told I had to be inside the pool with the children, which I did. Then, one child was told he could not jump in, even though he was wearing a life jacket and I was supervising him. Later, we entered the hot pool and were only then told that children must be over 5 years old. I understand that safety rules are necessary, but they should be clearly posted and explained in advance. Families should know these restrictions before entering the pool area. What was supposed to be an enjoyable family stay became stressful and uncomfortable. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Icon Brickell to families with young children.
