Boutique hotel: a gem outside of the city centre

This boutique hotel provided excellent service from check in to check out. There is no onsite check in but the instructions provided were very clear. I appreciated that they also explained how to access the elevator. The room was very comfortable and the decor was on point for being a former military barracks building. Breakfast was included and was delicious. Being able to customize it was wonderful! Coffee, espresso beverages and tea were all available round the clock. The hotel is outside of the town centre which, for some, would be a drawback but I really enjoyed the 26 min walk to the town centre via pathways and gardens. I used public transit from the train station with my luggage and it was straightforward with no transfers and the stop is close to the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice historic hotel, but a little quirky!

Door key code is emailed but the process ti unlock and locked the door is fiddly. Breakfast is also different, again via another email for a standard breakfast or if you wish you can request something special from the list, the breakfast is then left in a Browne paper bag in the breakfast room fridge with your room number on the next morning. Parking also has to be paid for as it’s a public car park just outside the hotel.

Was supposed to have a single room, room had sixbunk beds. Was informed if I needed a special order breakfast needed to order on line. I didn't need a special breakfast so didn't order. I got no breakfast becasue I hadn't ordered.

Rymliga och mycket fräscha rum med sköna sängar. Lite bökigt med frukosten som levereras i en påse i en kyl, det blev väldigt mycket att plocka fram, hantera och sen sopsortera. Men rummen var mycket bra och det är ändå det viktigaste för mig. Kan tänka mig att komma tillbaka.

Väldigt unikt o läckert hotell!!!

Nämen detta hotell är så unikt, fantastisk service med personlig kontakt så vi visste vad som gällde vid ankomst då vi kom lite sent. Superläckert rum och bonus + då vi blev uppgraderad :) bara sådär... Frukosten kan man välja själv dagen innan från en meny... så det blir så lite matsvinn som möjligt 👍 Kan varm rekommendera detta hotell!

Historisk oplevelse

Dejligt ophold på et flot stor værelse. Stedet emmede af historie, idet området har været en tidligere kaserne. Bygningen med hotellet blev også anvendt til konferencer og selskaber, hvilket foregik i den tidligere stabs mødelokaler og opholdsrum, som alle fremstod med det møblement, malerier m.m. fra den tid hvor staben brugte det. Det var sm at bevæge sig ind i en tidslomme. Meget spændende. Vi giver hotellet vores bedste anbefaling.
