“Booked as a Christmas catch up for friends. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Service was excellent from check in through to the bar and restaurant staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal and breakfast the next morning also could not be faulted. Hopefully we will be back next year.”

The bar area, where the owner received us, looked particularly shabby and it smelt musty. It was 3pm (an hour after checking-in should have started) and the room wasn't ready.
