Vacations Close To Lincoln Park Cemetery

This is in a perfect location - lots of history and the old house has character in the best way. Hope to return on our next trip.

The location is great we stayed for four nights and had to keep requesting towels like they didn't want to refresh our room, clean it or give us towels on a daily basis. The price we paid for the room should have included daily housekeeping or at least fresh towels and water bottles replenished.

The location was excellent. The Atlantic Suite needs a little work to justify the cost per night. The refrigerator froze all of our drinks even on the lowest setting. This suite is not conducive for work as there is no desk. The bathroom is a bit worn, especially the shower. One of the lights in the bathroom was flickering. There is a nice fireplace in the sitting area which we used and enjoyed. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly. The Atlantic Suite was advertised as having a queen bed but it was a full-sized bed.

The property has potential, however, for the price, I would have expected a bit more. The rooms were not fully cleaned. My comforter had stains on it and the bottom of the shower liner was completely brown and smelled very strongly of mildew. Also, we had to ask 3 different times to get an additional 2 towels. Our shade stopped working the second day. It was fixed quickly but I was told it "needed to charge"?!? The shuttle only leaves once an hour which is fine, but had limited seating so sometimes you can't utilize it if there's too many people who want to use it. The fitness center was dated and smelled musty. The pool deck is cute, but the pool is extremely small. Also, there is no where on property you can buy bottled water, which is extremely odd, as they have a small coffee bar that sells other bottled drinks.

Fantastic stay. Friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Very pleased with our stay.
