The Receptionist did not handle our arrival very well - not unpleasant but rather offhand.
The dining room staff at breakfast, on the other hand, were extremely helpful.
Our room was very good - extremely quiet and very comfortable.

Staff Mostly Great small room
Had booked though ebookers - receptionist tried to charged me again and when i Told her how I'd booked she claimed never to have heard of ebookers (I later learned that she was the head receptionist - anyway it was all sorted - room was clean but small (common in city hotels) mine faced the car park but they did offer to change for a cathedral view the next day if I wanted. Apart from that first receptionist ALL other staff were 1st class - especially the bubbly blond receptionist and the lady Maitre dee. Eat out at the wig and mitre one day and cafe Zoot the next - the latter being recommended by the receptionist
