Room was small but very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just two small blocks from the malecon. And the breakfast was very good. I would go back any time.

Good hotel, just a personal issue

The hotel is fine and the people were nice. Just that I was coming with my son and the booking was in my name. My son was closer than me and arrived earlier at the property but they wouldn't let him in because booking was in my name, even though I had messaged to explain. This annoyed me because he had to wait a few hours at the reception instead of the comfort of our room.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We found out, when we showed up, that the room was not what they had described. Given the time of day, we were stuck staying one night there and rented at another hotel for the remainder of our stay. While at the hotel, we had to use the hotel's lobby bathroom because the one in our room didn't fill with water and, thus, couldn't flush. When they refunded our 3 unused nights, they couldn't make the credit card machine to work to reimburse. After negotiating for 1 hour, they accepted my proposal to reimburse in cash, but I had to finance 5% of the total which was the commission they paid to the credit card company (even though it was their machine which didn't work). Unless you REALLY want to rent there and risk the uncertainties, PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE....

Not worth the price at all, my $13 hostel had better facilities and amenities. Staff were not friendly or helpful, the whole hotel and our room smelt like cleaning detergents and the bathroom had no ventilation. Not to mention our toilet stopped flushing halfway through the night of our 1 night stay.
