Very large and busy hotel. Run down, untidy and well past it’s best. Our room was ok, looked over the garden. Stayed for 2 nights, they didn’t make up the room, or bring fresh towels on the second day. Indoor pool was under refurbishment, which we were not made aware off. Outdoor pool was dirty, small and full of children during our stay. Didn’t try the spa as it was quite pricey. Wouldn’t stay again.

Our experience was very disappointing. Just one day before our arrival, the hotel informed us that our reservation had been changed and gave us only two options: transfer to another hotel or cancel. Since our trip was the next day, canceling was not realistic, so we had no real choice but to accept the transfer. The replacement hotel did not offer the same facilities. There was no swimming pool or attractions for children, which were the main reasons we chose the original hotel. Although we were allowed to use the pool at the original property, it was over a kilometer away, which was very inconvenient with children. The new hotel also did not have its own parking, which made traveling with kids more difficult, and we had to pay extra for parking as well. Despite the clear downgrade in facilities, we received no refund or compensation. Overall, the situation caused us a lot of stress and disappointment, and we cannot recommend this hotel.

Very Disappointing Stay – Not Suitable for Summer

This was one of the worst hotel choices we’ve made. While the hotel might be a decent option during winter, it was unbearable in the summer. The room was extremely hot, and there was no air conditioning or even fans available. When we tried to open the windows for some relief, we were met with loud noise from the parking area—especially from large buses starting early in the morning. The lack of ventilation made it very uncomfortable, especially since we were traveling with two small children and elderly family members. We arrived late, and all the nearby shops were closed, so we couldn’t even buy a fan ourselves. We paid 4500 SEK for one night, which was absolutely not worth it. Had we known the hotel didn’t provide fans or AC, we would have either chosen a different place or brought our own. Hotels.com should have clearly mentioned this in the listing or sent us an email. We’re very disappointed and will not be recommending this hotel—or Hotels.com—because of the lack of crucial information. A very frustrating experience overall

Das Hotel ist OK ich komme seit 13 Jahren jetzt regelmäßig hier her. In den ersten Jahren war es so la la. Dann wurde es renoviert da war es top. Und nun ist es langsam mal wieder Zeit was etwas zumachen. Man sieht überall Gebrauchsspuren sowohl in den Zimmern als auch in den öffentlichen Bereichen Das Frühstück war OK aber mehr auch nicht es hat an Auswahl gefehlt von allem die Größe der Kaffee/Tee Tassen ist ein Witz. Das Abendessen a la Carte war Top mit Auszeichnung.

Bij aankomst prachtig. De lobby ziet er schitterend en verzorgd uit evenals het restaurant. De gangen naar de kamers en de kamers zelf zijn echter flink gedateerd en niet altijd even schoon. De vloerbedekking helpt daar zeker niet bij. Qua faciliteiten een prima hotel, qua staat en verzorging van de kamers een tegenvaller
