Room was clean, bedding was clean and spotless, bathrooms nice and tidy. Only things which are a little bothered us was that tv had 6 channels and only one in english. And few times there was voice without a vision. There are sockets but only in one place and just one. And if you wanna charge 2 things you need to disconnect the telly. Beside that hotel was lovely. All wooden inside, fireplace beautiful and give warm, place for a kids to build lego, and play board games. Nice breakfasts. Bus to Hafjell from front of the hotel. Family park just 10 minuts walk from hotel. Great place.

Skuffende opphold. Vi valgte å bo på Hunderfossen Hotell på grunn av nærheten til parken og på grunn av aktivitetsmulighetene utenfor hotellet. Jeg hadde fortalt barna på forhånd at vi kunne svanebåter. Men når vi kom dit så fikk vi beskjed om at de var utilgjengelig. Fordi ingen av personalet kunne følge med oss. Jeg spurte på forhånd om det fantes glutenfri frokost til barnet mitt som har cøliaki. Det fikk jeg beskjed om at det var ikke noe problem. Den glutenfrie avdelingen hadde et stusslig utvalg. Rugbrød og puffet ris var igrunn det som var tilgjengelig, så vi endte med å ta med eget brød. På frokosten så ble vi møtt av en meget stresset ansatt som ga oss beskjed om hvor vi skulle sitte. Egentlig veldig positivt å ha noen til å sørge for at gjestene finner ledig bord, men her føltes det mer som om vi ble jaget til bordet og fikk beskjed om å sette oss. Ellers så vil jeg si frokosten var ok+ Egg/bacon, frukt, litt pålegg, pannekaker. Vi bodde på familierom. Dobbelseng og køyeseng. Rommet var litt trangt, men det gikk greit. Det var ikke lys i taklampen, så vi greide oss med dunkel belysning fra nattlampe og lampett. Det virket heller ikke som om ventilasjonen var beregnet for at 4 personer skulle oppholde seg på rommet. Så vinduene forble åpne. Det trekker veldig opp at hotellet var så nærme Hunderfossen, 400m. Og lekeplassen utenfor var fin. Men alt i alt så forventet jeg mer. Vi hadde spart over 1000kr natten hvis vi hadde bodd på hotell på Lillehammer

Praktisk at det er nærme Hunderfossen eventyrpark. Soverom ved parkering/inngang til kjøkkenet anbefales ikke. Vekker barn som ikke er vant til slamring med dører, søppelkasser utenfor vinduet og cateringbiler. I disse varme dager kunne det og vært fint å få noe mat ved hvil midt på dagen. Ikke mulig å få kokt vann i resepsjon etter utsjekk. «Kjøkkenet er dessverre stengt».
