We were there for day 1 of the tour and to look around Lille. Enjoyed the hotel - dinner in the restaurant was excellent, breakfasts were great and the room was comfortable and quiet. Its on the tramline and 20 mins to the centre- or 10 minutes uber . Coffee at breakfast wasn't great - but everything else was!

A lovely property with lots of character. Unfortunately, we only stayed one day and that was a Sunday. The problem with staying on a Sunday is that the restaurant is closed and there is nowhere, either at the hotel or locally to get food. Our room whilst decorated beautifully and complete with everything you could want including robes and slippers was high up with a sloped roof that my wife on two occasions nearly knocked herself out. However, you will not find better and more friendly staff anywhere.

A real find

It has only been open for 2 weeks, so still settling teething problems, but the facilities are very high spec and the young team are very enthusiastic and keen to make everyone welcome. The restaurant is superb with a very high standard of cooking and knowledgeable staff Our room was finished to a high standard . The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very good Just one thing needs to be tweaked, a full length mirror is needed . Other than that this place is obviously a destination for gourmets

Disappointing Stay – Not What We Expected

We were really looking forward to our stay after reading so many positive reviews, but sadly it fell short in a number of ways. Check-in was frustrating — the room wasn’t ready at 3pm, and we waited around until nearly 15:40 while cleaners finished up. Nothing was explained to us on arrival, including how to use the in-room tech, with all in room literature being in French. The “Comfort” room was anything but — painted in a harsh lime green that felt more chaotic than cozy. The air conditioning didn’t work at all, and despite multiple requests, staff couldn’t fix it. There was also a constant draft coming in through the roof eaves, which made the temperature even more uncomfortable. At night, the AC control lights were so bright I had to cover them with a sock just to sleep — ironic, considering the AC itself didn’t work. There was an iPhone in the room used to control lighting, but since no one mentioned it at check-in, we thought it had been left behind by mistake. Oddly, there were also no bedside tables on either side of the bed — a strange and inconvenient omission in what’s supposed to be a comfort-focused room. On the plus side, the room featured a large, relaxing bath and a very high-quality bed — though a bit too soft for my personal preference. Other thoughtful extras included high-end toiletries, soft fluffy towels, bathrobes and slippers. The Apple TV system was a nice touch too (just be aware you’ll need your own subscriptions, as i saw no live TV option).

le séjour fut agréable avec un cadre tes sympathique et un personnel très prévenant, ainsi que la chambre avec les thèmes maraichers , chambre carotte pour ma part :), mais l'agencement de celle ci est surprenante , j'aime beaucoup le format anticonformiste , mais le lavabo face une fenêtre sans miroir et s'adapter au miroir grand format a sa gauche , pas facile ..., deux beaux fauteuils sans table pour permette de travailler pas facile .... le concept de la tele intégré dans la structure au pied du lit , effet waouuh quand celui ci sort de son logement avec la télécommande mais pour accéder au chaine classique juste pour regarder de simple actualités , malgré l'intervention bienveillante du jeune homme a l'accueil , lui aussi a buger sur son utilisation , il y a que des applications ... évidement je ne connais pas par cœur mes codes accès donc effet pouet .... aucun intérêt puis nous le système d'allumage et extinction de l'Eclairage ,avec un interrupteur murale multifonction qui nécessite au moins 10 minutes pour comprendre et gérer les choix de la lumière souhaité , trop long et trop sophistiqué et pur finir les appliques tête de lit , extrêmement éblouissant , il semblerait qu'elles nécessitent des abats jour , juste désagréable pour conclure c'est une chambre avec un concept bizarre. mais merci beaucoup pour le très bon accueil.
