I really enjoyed my 2-night stay here. Staff was very friendly, check-in was smooth and room was nice and clean. The building itself looks like it could be in need of an upgrade soon, but that did not take away from it feeling clean and safe. Within walking distance (10 minutes) from nearly all the areas in Lille, including the train station. Would definitely stay again!

Convenient and quite a pleasant stay

Convenient, about 16 min walk from Lille Europe station and 10 min walk from Lille Flandres, and 15 min from Lille Grand Palais. Breakfast has a good variety of food, including cheese, brrad, pastry, yoghurt, etc. Staff are helpful and polite. However, the room lacks basic amenities like hot water flask, slippers, toiletries, cups, etc, though they are available at the hotel lobby. Some corners of the room have mould and were musty. The air conditioner was not cold enough (but this is understandable as it was about 25 to 28 deg C in the afternoon).

Friendly helpful staff. Good location near the station but in a quiet area. Great selection of food & drink at the buffet breakfast. Also loved the large selection of local beers at yye hotel bar.

We switched from another hotel in Lille because it was 100 degrees outside and this one advertised air conditioning but cost a lot more. When we arrived to a small room with a tiny and dirty bathroom, we turned on the AC. After some time we realized it was not working. Communication as an English speaker was difficult with front desk. They would not move us to a lower floor or another ibis hotel nearby, and simply gave us a fan. Rooms were over 90 degrees so sleep was impossible and a fan did not help. There were no workers trying to fix AC and they refused to give us a partial refund. These were unsafe and unbearable conditions in the tiny rooms. False advertising should not be accepted and customers deserve a refund for having to go through this.

Friendly and well located hotel

Felt welcome on arrival, friendly and helpful staff gave advice on where to eat, etc. Grateful to be able to access room early. Clean room with excellent shower. Excellent choice of food at breakfast. Very convenient location for town centre and stations.

La chambre est petite et dans style, contrairement à la dénomination de cette gamme Ibis. La salle de bain minuscule. Mais Tout le reste est au top : Proche de la gare et centre ville accessible à pied Personnel très agréable, avec des services appréciables, par exemple un service de consigne qui permet de laisser les bagages le dernier jour et de visiter léger une dernière fois avant de prendre le train. Et surtout Un petit déjeuner excellent, varié et copieux. Bref, si on s'attarde pas à la taille de la chambre, c'est un excellent choix pour visiter Lille
