I had a wonderful stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott Lille. The hotel's location is outstanding, just a short walk from the train stations, shopping center, restaurants, and the beautiful old town, making it perfect for exploring Lille.

The room is clean and tidy. Staff at reception are very helpful. The inclusive breakfast has a wide range of food available, and the sitting area is pleasant and clean. However the lift is a big frustration. Only one is working throughout our stay. It is small and waiting to get in can be quite long. The hygiene just outside the main entrance of the hotel is poor with unpleasant smell. Not sure why it is not cleaned regularly

Hôtel entièrement rénové idéalement situé à proximité immédiate de la gare et du vieux Lille tout en étant au calme. Chambre spacieuse, lumineuse et propre. Le seul point négatif est le manque de tablettes et de porte serviettes dans la salle de bain pour poser ses affaires. Tout le personnel rencontré est professionnel et très agréable. Het hotel is centraal gelegen met een eigen gedeelte in een parkeergarage. Om binnen te komen heb je 2 codes nodig, die je bij de receptie krijgt. Het personeel is erg aardig en behulpzaam. De receptie is heel erg klein waardoor je soms lang moet wachten. Ook het restaurant voor het ontbijt is erg klein, waardoor er opstoppingen ontstaan voor zitplaatsen en buffet. Het personeel werkt keihard, maar kunnen het soms niet bijbenen, omdat veel dingen sneller aangevuld dienen te worden en de keuken te klein is. Zo moest je steeds wachten op borden en bestek, schone tafel en gerechten. De kamer is daarentegen ruim en netjes, vrij nieuw. Dus aan te bevelen.
