“Modala was beautiful. There are many hotels in Bohol, but I'm so glad we chose this one. The pool and beach are pristine and quiet, and we loved the shopping area attached to the hotel, with good restaurants, cafes, and lovely shops for souvenirs and handmade jewelry. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was extensive and featured local delicacies from Bohol - something new every morning. The staff were so gracious and accommodating. I would return to Bohol just to stay...

“It is situated nicely and tucked in a quiet neighborhood. The way it was designed the villas and rooms has walk ways and outside nature you could enjoy. The pool is a plus. The cafe and restaurant had a relaxing and quiet feel. It is a reasonable price including breakfast. Also we met a neighbor Alfred who took us a nice private tour. Good job Secret Garden Resort. “J'ai eu la chance d'être surclassée, j'ai eu une chambre très jolie qui invite à la romance. La chambre manque un peu de modernité mais à un charme spéciale. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la terrasse avec vue sur la mer. Literie confortable et salle de bain propres. Idéale pour la détente. Le seul point négatif est le ronronnement permanent des climes de la cuisine situés juste à côté. Mais on oublie vite le bruit. ”

“Upon arrival we were greated warmheartedly by the staff. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was great as well. During our stay the staff was super friendly and very accommodating and attentive to our needs (e.g. booked tuk tuks, rented a scooter etc. for us within minutes). Overall the experience was great and would definitely recommend staying at the Bathala Resort.”
