We had a wonderful stay - very clean and modern room with gorgeous views of the lake. Quieter than if we had stayed in Bellagio but fairly easy to get there by ferry or by bus. We dined at three local restaurants for dinner - all of them wonderful food and great staff.

A four-star boutique hotel with the standards of a five-star property. The rooms and restaurant are definitely five-star quality. The pool is large and never too crowded, and there is also a small beach if you want to swim in the lake. Just bear in mind that the hotel is not easy to reach. You either need to drive your own car or arrange a car service. For example, the fare from the hotel to Milan is €240. Local buses are very crowded and can be almost impossible to board.

A short but absolutely lovely stay at Filario. Romantic, comfortable, luxurious. You won't want to leave the property for any reason if you're here for only a couple of days. It was at Filario that I was finally able to relax and truly start enjoying my vacation. Pool views and the restaurant were sublime. The gift bag will remind me if Como long after the trip is over. Worth every penny.

Room was very quiet; noticeable how quiet the aircon was. View from room over lake was amazing to wake up to as was location for breakfast. Infinity pool is large, refreshing but not cold and a great spot to watch life on the lake go by.

Our stay was lovely. If you are planning to be in the Lake Como area, but would like to avoid the hustle and bustle of Bellagio/Varenna/Como, I highly recommend Filario in Lezzeno. It’s a quieter town, with ferry and bus access to get wherever you need to be on the lake. It’s also not a bad idea to spend the day at Filario itself. Lovely private beach, excellent included breakfast, and beautiful rooms with an unbeatable view. Highly recommend!

My stay at the Continental Hotel was absolutely fantastic—truly a 5-star experience from beginning to end. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with elegant rooms, a great atmosphere, and an ideal location that made exploring the area so easy. What really stood out was the exceptional service. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Every interaction felt genuine, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect. From the comfort of the room to the overall attention to detail, everything exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the Continental Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and seamless stay. I can’t wait to come back!

This is without a doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed in, given the comfort of our room, the incredible amenities of the hotel and the fabulous staff that work there. The hotel is beautiful and modern with unparalleled views of Lago di Como. They have a fun beach bar that serves up creative and delicious lunch options and pizza and salads after hours. Highly recommend making a reservation and dining at Filo, the hotel’s restaurant. Beautifully presented and delicious plates and a wonderful selection of wines. The breakfast out on the terrace every morning was a highlight. Everything you could want and more, including made to order coffees, creamy scrambled eggs, bacon and assortment of meats, fresh fruit and juices and a freshly baked selection of breads and sweets. They offer SUP, inner tubes, kayaks and a wonderful raft to swim out to. If swimming in the lake is not your thing, they have a massive infinity pool, which is heated! Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed and wonderful feather pillows make you feel right at home. Large, furnished terrace with views for days! We enjoyed many evenings with a glass of wine watching the sun set out there. A hotel is only as good as its staff and right from the moment we crossed their threshold, we felt welcomed. Umberto greeted us with a lemon drink and Emma explained everything the hotel had to offer. Special shout out to Sylvia, Nicolò, Luciano, Renato, Sylvia and the entire housekeeping staff. Highly recommend!
