“The property is unique stairs are narrow but there is a lift. Breakfasts are good but what a performance to pay for them.Breakfasts should be included in price like most establishments.Nice touch to offer a free drink in exchange for not servicing room.”

“Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately”

“Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden.”

“We just spent a night at this most excellent venue. Plenty of parking, the place was spotless, the staff were charming and very helpful and the room was extremely comfortable with good facilities. Given the overnight charge to stay here and everything else we experienced, it is an outstanding venue. The golf course looks very nice too. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity presented itself. Many thanks for a most enjoyable stay.”

“This is a little gem in the heart of the beautiful Herefordshire countryside. Simon and Vanessa are fantastic people who care about their clients as do their charming staff. Food is freshly prepared and is very good. Will definitely be staying again”

“A quaint old fashioned inn. Amenities a bit dated but all functioning. Bath with jets was a plus. Loved the provision of bottled water and little biscuits. Breakfast was a lovely continental affair. Only downside was the winding staircases that made taking luggage up and down difficult.”
