Great location, friendly staff, lovely place

We arrived and welcomed by staff, it is a qaint little pub with a great atmosphere, very central location, free parking in market square, outside pub.also pay and display nearby. Room was great for our 1 night stay, tv, kettle, toiletries. Breakfast was included, a lovely continental choice and cooked breakfast, we enjoyed our stay and wouls recommend

The room was clean and pleasant, but the bed was too high for me and I had difficulty in getting in to it. The shower bathroom was clean and plenty of towels. The hotel was in the main street on the Market Square but there was no noise from outside. Breakfast was only continental although plenty of food available. The younger staff were excellent, pleasant and helpful, but there was an older man on duty one evening and he was more surly. Otherwise it was comfortable and clean, and central for what I wanted.
