“Room, breakfast and service all very good. Site difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area. Using the postcode in the sat nav wasn't a good idea, better to use the signs for the forbidden corner which is on the same site.”

“My second time here but first since the name change. It was a lovely grand room. Very comfortable My only ding was that the grout between the tiles in the shower needed cleaning. A bit mildewed”

“We stayed here in January 2025 and it was looking very tired. The updates are fabulous and it so much nicer. Great location. It sits right in the middle of the moors and Ilkley, with about a 10 minute walk to both or a 2 minute drive. On a hill though? ”

“Great place to stay, only there for one night but will be back for longer next time. Room was lovely, bed was very comfortable and the large shower room was an added bonus. Located in the centre of Ripon so access to shops, bars and restaurants was easy and with the added bonus of on site parking. The food in the restaurant was excellent, a real taste of Italy. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming.”
