I always thought that motel 6 was a dirty creepy place to stay. But this motel 6 has all updated rooms and very clean and beautiful decor. Yes I would definitely stay here again.

Me and my family have stayed here a few times and each time has been such a great experience. The friendlessness of the married couple that manage this hotel make you feel so warm and welcomed from the point of check-in until the moment you checkout. They've done an amazing job of renovating this hotel. I look forward to our next stay.

Safe and simple

Safe comfortable place to stay. Nothing fancy, it was a quick stop to sleep. No coffee or refrigerator. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay

I really like it there. They took such good care of me during my stay. I work nights so they let me do an early check in and late check out. They made sure to put me in a room far away from any kind of noise. I’ve stayed her numerous of times and each stay was great. I’ll keep coming back until my contract with work is over.

Looked shoddy from the outside. Like a motel with long term residents. However, things changed at check in. The people were wonderful and kind. The room was really nice with a newly remodeled bathroom. Midwest motel 6s stay strong. Worth an overnight on the road.

Great, nice stay!

My stay was great! They were very accommodating in what I needed. I work night shift so they let me have a room far off from any kind of noise. The hotel has been renovated so everything in my room was updated and clean. The man who checked me in was very nice and made sure I had everything I needed. I’ll be back of course.

Would stay again!

It has been recently remodeled so very up-to-date. Everything was very clean except the floor (which was new too). We had black feet after walking on it.... But that's a easy fix. There also was still a left over smoke smell (not terrible).The beds were new and comfortable! Everything was in working order! It also had great water pressure. Overall for a motel very nice.

Affordable and comfortable for the price

The rooms have exterior entry doorways so you do hear the outside traffic. The heater was a little rattley but not to the point that it annoyed us and it worked very well. The room was clean and comfortable. No roaches or bedbugs. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Room also came with a microwave and mini fridge which was nice. It isnt fancy at all but it is affordable and the conditions were nuce for the price. There was no shampoo in room but when i went to front they did have some for me. Wifi was available for my tablet, only lagged a little one time during a movie we were watching.

Motel 6 Richmond KY good contrast to expense Lex

Property was clean. Staff friendly and efficient. Eco-friendly in that only soap offered so no waste of other hygiene amenities. Close to interstate but did not notice noise. Appreciated the ice machine. One drawback was curtain had some attachment issues and to cover the window completely had to tie to door. Missed having coffee available in the am if only in office but realize some special features cannot be offered at a low price point.

We got to the property late and the guy that checked us in wasn’t the friendliest. We got into our room and it was “ upgraded” but there was hair in the bed, pee in the toilet , shower leaked , no shampoo/conditioner, an open bar of soap. We slept for a few hours and left. When checking out the receptionist was super friendly. Honestly, it was cheap so you get what you paid for.

There were roaches in my room. I didnt realize it until I got back there at midnight. Instead of asking for a move (assuming there would be bugs in other rooms too) I opted to stay. I was dropped off and didnt have transportation to another place. Thankfully I only had a backpack with me. Otherwise check in was super friendly and this was one of the nicest Motel 6 I have been too.

The listing on Expedia was very misleading. The pictures of the property exterior and the pool were not accurate at all. They do not have a pool at this property as listed (which was the main reason I booked a stay), the parking lot is mostly gravel and the building is still heavily under construction. I booked a handicap accessible room, the only 1 available didn’t have a working TV. I had to take a regular room . With that being said, the interior of the room was clean and extremely nice. The staff was friendly and tried their best to accommodate me under the circumstances.

Motel 666

very nice newly renovated rooms also clean. Not very handicap accesible ,I am disabled, the elevator is out of service. also looks dangerous for children on the second and third floor. i would hate to think of my little daughter falling down a elevator shaft. i came back from chemotheropy, lung cancer, one afternnoon to find my child traumatized and my wife hysterical we had apparently been kicked out of our room due to the racist owner claiming to have found an ash in the floor. i told the irrational, confrontational and rude man that he was mistaken. he did not care. This was the most horrible experience ive ever had traveling.They also stole from us. i had already paid for the night and we havent gotten our refund or deposit back yet. i had to skip my chemotherapy to afford shelter for my family that i had already paid for ! More of a Motel 666 than a Motel 6 !
