When I arrived i was able check in early & add an additional day to my stay. Hotel has a nice restaurant and a bar. Staff at both were very pleasant. Starbucks for coffee in the morning opens at 6am which was good but would be better if it was an hour earlier. Lots of parking and the hotel room was nice.

Property has such great potential! But, needs updating and remodeling in many areas. Pros: easy-ish location near highway (construction for 2 years). Outside pool with bar and outside spa. Amenity options. Inside bar and restaurant shower and water pressure. Cons: price. Limited chairs by pool. Outside bar closing time. Hallways dirty. Stairwells horribly dirty. Balcony not cleaned since fall. Sidewalks closed. Has smoking area attached to building on 2nd floor. Can smell cigarettes and hear people.

The lobby of the hotel is nice but seems a little dated. Our room had LVP floors which I prefer to carpet. We stayed on the third floor and the air down our hall was mediocre at best. It smelled musty. The air in our room was horrible. I set it to 65 and it never went below 69 or 70 and the room stayed muggy. It was not pulling the humidity out of the room. The floor was sticky. I went to Target to get stuff to mop it myself and the next day, it was back to sticky.The outdoor pool was a good size for the kids to swim. It is in a quiet area near the KY Horse Park. That is why we booked it for the horse show. One of our beds linens were dirty, and they did come swap them out right away. The day staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Some of the night staff were rude and very curt. I don't think I would stay here again
