The hardest thing was finding the property. It’s sandwiched between two gas stations and it’s a lane up to a steep hill where the hotel is. There’s a nice view at the top of the mountains.

This was our second stay at the Lexington HJ. We find the rooms large, the beds comfortable, the staff pleasant, and breakfast is a typical continental start to the day. Toast, bagels, muffins, cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, coffee,tea, juice. The hotel, rooms, bathrooms are clean and quiet. Bedding is cotton/percale and quite comfortable. Towels are always sparkling white and absorbent, though occasionally one is a little thin. It is an excellent choice for a short stay. Better appointed than many budget level hotel chains, not a resort level establishment. Great nostalgic road trip lodging.

Not a very detailed cleaning. Sheets had a few hairs on it, as well as the tub. Just did not feel clean. Mirrors needed cleaning. Somewhat renovated but carpet pooy done. Smell of smoke in the hall, but not my non smoking room. Pitiful continental breakfast in my opinion.

The owner's (I believe anyway) greeted me and checked me in with the most pleasant attitude. Place was clean and well maintained. Staff was available and pleasant also. I believe it's an older building, but they have updated and work to keep it that way. Definitely a great place to stay... and price was great too.
