We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. The property is very family-friendly, making it a great place to relax with kids. One of our favorite features was the beautiful outdoor patio—it was a perfect spot to sit, unwind, and enjoy the surroundings. We would definitely stay here again!

Quirky kinda place but I liked it. Staff was wonderful. Dinner at their café was just like homemade, probably because it was. Interesting property with an interesting history. Bathroom area was a little weird but totally functional and clean. If I take a similar route home I would definitely stay again.

Hidden gem near Lake Mac! Just a few miles away from white sand beaches. Perfect place to sit by the fire pit and stargaze at night. New management/owner is making some great changes here! Sundays - all you can eat breakfast buffet is worth the drive from the lake!

We ended up cutting our losses and not staying there. We felt very uncomfortable when we got there to get the keys. We tried calling when we got there to check in and the number was disconnected. A guy who stayed on the property was there and didn’t know that someone had booked a room. We had found out that a worker there was suicidal two days prior to us getting there. We did not feel comfortable staying there as adults, let alone with a child. Expedia made the listing much better than it actually was. Definitely do your research prior to booking.

Checked in on Friday evening... and then did not see a single staff member Saturday through Monday. Food was left in the refrigerator from the previous guests. There was no microwave and no coffee in the room, and they never opened the kitchen. A sign later appeared at the front door that said the grill was broken, but neither coffee nor the ice cream they advertised would have required a grill.

the motel was exelente is very clean the restaurant is very usable if you don't want to go out you can eat there the price was very good the staff very kind and helpful i enjoyed my days there just is a little fare way from the most beautiful beach but is something that it doesn't matter you can drive 15 minutes ant that s all i recommend for dog owners is a good place to stay .

We went to check in and NOBODY WAS AT THE PROPERTY. It was completely empty, dirty, and most of the windows on the outside of the windows were cracked. This hotel needs to authorize a refund. This is the most unpleasant experience trying to just check in. And again, nobody was at the property
