The staff at this hotel are amazing (shout out to Ita!) they really go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. And the bed and pillows are super comfy!! It’s also only a couple minutes from the beach which is very convenient

We stayed at the property for 4 nights , limited wifi in the rooms , shared balcony with room next door , no hot water after second day , tv didn’t work, bathroom dated , room was however clean and beautiful view from balcony overlooking the trees and water , nice little pool and staff very friendly, steep 3 min walk down to the beach and a nice selection of restaurants and warungs around , lots to do if wanted or just chill out on mushroom beach and absorb life , best beach we seen in that area

This family run establishment was a very pleasant place to stay. We could walk to the beach at Mushroom Bay in 5 minutes. The staff were very obliging and helpful. As we were mother and daughter traveling, we would have preferred separate beds but we’re not able to have this as an option. Breakfast was included and somewhat limited but we found it enough for our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at this villa at Mushroom Beach! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. They helped organize day trips and adventures for us, making it easy to explore the area, and were a great support when our son fell ill, assisting us with care. The location was fantastic—just a short walk from Mushroom Beach, restaurants, and cafes. It was also very convenient to reach from the fast ferries, which made our arrival stress-free. While there was some construction during the day, it didn’t disrupt our plans, and the nights were peaceful and quiet. We’re grateful for such a memorable stay and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Lembongan!

Chempaka Villa is Very Quaint

This villa is very quaint. It is very close to Mushroom Bay Beach and if you get a second floor room, you can actually see the bay from the balcony. They serve a very tasty breakfast so be sure to include that in your booking. They do not serve lunch or dinner however there are several really nice restaurants down at the beach. They did room service but only if you ask them and tell them what you need (water, coffee, fresh towels, etc). I recommend you don’t try to find the villa on your own till you have been taxied there a couple of times as it is a crazy route. Enjoy!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Cempaka villa and I don't think I've stayed anywhere where the people have been so nice and attentative. They were always on hand whenever we needed them and especially for cuddles with the 3 month baby we had in the group so the parents could eat their breakfast in peace! The location for mushroom beach was excellent being a couple of minutes walk away from the beach itself and restaurants not too much further than that. The pool and Aircon were both excellent and much needed after a day out and the beds were very comfy. Our room was cleaned every day we were there. They also provided a taxi when we ventured out a bit further. If we came back to Nusa lembongan again (minus the children!) I think a scooter would be the ideal way to explore the island and the roads are so much quieter than in Bali.

Our family stayed for 4 nights in this lovely hotel, I found the property to be calming, felt very comfortable. Our room was lovely, bed comfortable. The pool was delightful and good temperature to take the heat off and plenty seating around it. The staff were lovely and especially lovely Manageress sorry her name escapes me for now. We were greeted with the best fresh orange juice we have every had. The hotel is a short walk to Mushroom Bay which is lovely with Restaurants on the beach serving nice meals. The whole Island is definitely worth a visit.

The owners are amazing very helpful, they helped us with taxis and our whole trip to nusa pendida. Our room was lovely, the bed was sooo comfortable didn’t want to leave that bed. The place itself is chill, not far from mushroom beach then a 15mins walk from dream beach and all the good restaurants. Great value for money

We booked the room for 15 days but we only stayed for 7 days, it said online that there was working TV, a king bed, and overall from the pictures and positive reviews we assumed it was a good property. However that is wrong, the TV didn’t work it was only static, the ac barely worked, the bathroom wasn’t clean, the property is out in the middle of nowhere so you have to drive on the dirt roads to get out onto the main road, there was no housekeeping, we were only offered housekeeping on the last day of our stay. It also says it’s a restaurant online, that’s false though as they only served breakfast. You have to pay for Breakfast as well. Also we were constantly getting bit on the bed. The property is also right next to a construction site and they seem to work all day and night, so they kept waking us up. The Expedia reviews must be old because this property is not good. The one saving grace is the hotel staff and owners were extremely helpful and welcoming, we truly appreciate them.

We left a few hours after checking in. The restaurant was closed, the pool was slippery and dirty due to a broken filter, there were spiders in the bed and the stairs to the pool were rotting. Only one other couple there when we checked in. Staff were friendly but were not available to hotels.com staff when we tried to get a refund. I think the pandemic has been hard on their business.
