Automated accomodation experience Stay Koook has automated the experience in an effort to reduce staff as it seems. The main guest is asked to check in online, also requiring to provide personal contact data of all guests, which might not be preference for most as to data privacy. The experience overall isn't as user friendly, which means the one staff member (who doesn't even have a proper space and needs to hang out on a sofa) has to support each guest in figuring out how to get around. The staff member however was very friendly and incredibly patient. Room Design They clearly made an effort to design the rooms uniquely. Which per se is a fun idea. Though the execution shows that neither the designer nor any executive signing up on the designs has tried their "own dogfood". In our room the bed was placed in the middle of the room, leaving little space to move around or keep your things orderly - to make it even more messy, you are supposed to hang your clothes on the walls around the bed. Besides the missing wardrobe, the designer also wanted to spare the bathroom - moving the sink out in the open and the shower behind see through glass, which is a mirror when inside the shower. When showering, you not just have to throw your towel on the floor outside of the shower (because no towel hooks), you also wet the floor. The lack of privacy and space to move around to keep things organized makes the rooms unpleasant. Location The area the hotel is in is nice.

Wir sind hin und weg von stay coook! Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist umgeben von verschiedenen Cafés und Restaurants. Jeweils fünf Minuten Fußweg entfernt gibt es einen Konsum und in der anderen Richtung verschiedenste Shoppingmöglichkeiten. Parkplätze sind direkt vor Ort nur schwer zu finden. Allerdings gibt es in dem Konsum ein Parkhaus für 10€/Tag. Das Hotel selbst lädt von der ersten Minute zum Bleiben ein. Die Zimmer sind sauber und geräumig. Die Möbel wirken sehr ausgewählt, man möchte eigentlich alles direkt nachkaufen. Gefallen haben uns auch die verschiedenen Möglichkeiten in der Lobby: Kaffeemaschine, Gemeinschaftsküche, Billard-Tisch, verschiedene Spiele und sogar ein Fernseher mit PlayStation. Außerdem gibt es einen Außenbereich mit verschiedenen Sitzmöglichkeiten sowie eine Dachterasse.

Schönes und sauberes Hotel. Alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Es gibt ein paar Nachteile die wir persönlich nicht so mögen: -zu viel Technik, Haupteingang, Zimmertüre lassen sich nur über das Handy öffnen, Lichtschalter nicht erkennbar für welche Lampe. -Familienstudio ist nicht machbar, mit Teenager oder Jugendlichen, da das Badezimmer komplett aus Glas und somit durchsichtig ist. -Frühstück würde ich persönlich ebenfalls nicht mehr mit dazu buchen, sehr mager und schade das es keine größere Auswahl gibt. -Wenn ein Parkplatz benötigt wird, muss man hier zu viel bezahlen. Würde ich ebenfalls nicht mehr buchen.

Bitte unbedingt vorher elektronisch einchecken und registrieren, sonst kann es Schwierigkeiten geben in die Unterkunft zu gelangen, wenn ihr etwas später kommt, denn es gibt keine besetzte Rezeption.

Meine Bewertung leidet darunter, dass Expedia die Voraussetzungen für die Buchung nicht explizit nennt: Man benötigt nämlich eine Kreditkarte sowie ein Smartphone (mit mobilen Daten), um stressfrei ein- und auszuchecken. Nachdem ich über Expedia die Buchung via Paypal vornehmen konnte, musste ich die City Tax in Höhe von 2,94 € vor Ort mit Kreditkarte zahlen; diesen Betrag nimmt Expedia nicht in die Buchung auf. In Ermangelung einer Kreditkarte, war ich auf das Entgegenkommen der Mitarbeiter angewiesen, war ich sehr lobe, mir aber viel Aufwand verursachte, angesichts des marginalen Betrages. Da das Hotel aber voll digitalisiert ist - selbst die Zimmertür öffnet man über einen Schieberegler im Browser - bekommt man erst nach kompletter Zahlung einen entsprechenden Link. Das Hotel agiert komplett bargeldfrei und (noch) ohne Paypal-Zahlung. Ein Lob an Anja, die mir den Zugang trotz zunächst offener Zahlung ermöglichte. An Expedia: Stellt heraus, dass nur beim Vorhandensein einer Kreditkarte sowie eines Smartphones ein (stressfreier) Aufenthalt möglich ist.
