Its a lovely quiet place but also very central to pubs markets beach and restaurants. The only thing is the breakfast needs to have more variety in cereal condiments such as real jams.

Lovely smaller hotel really well located. Close to beach shops restaurants and plenty of bars with great music at night. Not many kids very quiet and peaceful even though so close to all the bustle. Great value for money and super friendly staff.

Staff were fantastic very helpful my room was on second floor looking over the pool it was very noisy some nights till late. If you like quiet areas go to garden view areas. Shower was poor no warm water need to let it run for a bit and the shower head was poor detachable to get any sort of hot water.

The hotel is being renovated Painted cleaned and the pool area upgraded Staff are lovely and nothing is a problem Great area and close to beach shops and anything you need I enjoyed my stay

Lovely and quiet little hotel down a long gang (lane). Its quite safe to walk even at night as its well lit. Conveniently close to the beach and Garlic lane. Nice pool also. Basic breakfast but the pancakes are amazing! Each room has a balcony. Lots of stairs to access everywhere so not suitable for everyone.

This property is in need of repair, there were holes in the ceiling and the shower hose didn't point the right way for example. The pool area was very pleasant and the balconies overlooking the pool. If you want a well maintained place, this is not it, but for what we paid, we would consider staying there again.

The room was not ready at 2pm we had to come back after 6pm, then the communication was terrible . The wife electrocuted her self on the mirror that had wires exposed on the back when we told reception they did not care . Rooms werent cleaned often we had to keep going to reception to ask for toilet paper as they would only give 1 out each time . The workers just didnt seem overly happy to be there or to great you. We will definitely never stay there again

Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel Legian used to feel like a second home to us. For over ten years, we stayed here multiple times a year — it held so many beautiful memories. Sadly, our most recent stay was nothing short of heartbreaking. After 16 nights filled with disappointment, stress, and daily drama, it’s clear that the hotel we once loved no longer exists. The experience from start to finish was appalling. The service has become not just poor, but intimidating. Every day brought a new issue — from being incorrectly charged and forced into uncomfortable confrontations, to the broken air conditioning and toilets that were never properly fixed despite multiple requests. Basic hospitality and kindness, once a given here, are now completely absent. What’s even more insulting is the fact that prices have doubled since our last stay, yet the service and standards have plummeted to shocking lows. The management seems uninterested in guest satisfaction and more focused on squeezing as much money as possible from visitors, no matter the experience they deliver. It’s devastating to see how much the spirit of this hotel has changed. What was once a peaceful, welcoming retreat for us turned into a stressful, upsetting ordeal that ruined our long-awaited holiday. Sixteen nights should have been filled with relaxation — instead, we faced drama, frustration, and constant disappointment. We are heartbroken that we can no longer recommend Fourteen Roses Beach Hotel to anyone.

Honest review. Stayed here because of the reviews, but we were disappointed. The pool is beautiful, but not many sunbeds. This wasn’t too bad, usually people only stayed for a short time so we would wait. The balcony in the room was amazing, overlooking the pool. The room is very dated and the bathroom needs to be done. The shower pressure is awful, we never felt fully clean. The air conditioning in the room only worked sometimes, but we had to keep it on 24/7 because the room is not sealed. There are big gaps in the doors and the cold air escapes. On our first night we had to ask the staff to spray the room for bugs as we had ant Infestation. For some reason they were drawn to the bathroom and we ended up going out to the supermarket and buying bug spray as they hadn’t fully got rid of them. The beds were very comfortable though. The breakfast was free for us but we only ate it once over 7 days. The choices were poor, rice, noodles or pancakes made to order and they were average. It seemed more like lunch/dinner food. They did have toast/croissants etc but they looked very dry. The location is great because it’s right on the main strip, so there are lots of restaurants around and markets for shopping. It’s also only a short walk to the beach. It was also a struggle to get towels off of staff members, I’m not sure if there was a shortage or what? Room service food wasn’t great either, the chicken was half cold, the chips were average. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
