There’s just something about staying in a historic Inn. The Lakeside Inn is a beautiful old property with a great pool and a beautiful view of the lake entertainment in the lounge is quite nice. The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. This is a busy Property so if you are going please book early the location for downtown Mount Dora is perfect. I have stayed many times and it is always been very clean and comfortable, and the employees are great.

Quaint historic property on a beautiful lake at the center of a town filled with excellent shops and restaurants. With that, the amenities (bathrooms, outlets, furniture) aren't up to a modern hotel, and there are lots of stairs and no elevators. Very relaxing with a very attentive staff otherwise.

Lakeside Inn was an awesome place back in time. Mt Dora is a very neat place. It was a great place to relax. Absolutely beautiful. The staff was so so. We stayed in the inn that allowed dogs of which I am grateful. It had old dirty carpet and the cleaning staff was super loud but the place as a whole was worth the stay. The lake was beautiful. I’d stay again.

Front desk and management were super helpful with a last minute emergency during our stay. We had to check out a day early and the staff and management refunded us for the early check out. The stay at the Inn was peaceful and quaint. The staff was very helpful in suggesting places to visit and eat (other than at the Inn, which had nice dining facilities). Heads up though - there isn’t an elevator, so luggage has to be carried up one flight of stairs.

Charming inn in a charming walkable historic town. The restaurant was very good and the front porches can’t be beat. If you are open to the character a historic property lends, you will be fine. If you are expecting Hilton amenities, stay at Hilton on the main drag.

The Lakeside Inn was a charming hotel. It was great for a one night getaway to relax. There are plenty of places to eat on site or a short walk away. Many activities are offered on site and it was a pleasure sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs watching the sunset!
